Next time you are at your home furniture store, do the same thing. Treat it as not a place to run in and run out of quickly to just pick up what you need. Instead, go there with an hour to spend. Roam the aisles. Reinvent your living space as you check out all they have to offer you. How do you want to redo your dream bedroom? What would look good in your new living room? Do you want a green dining room? Flip through the color swatches and find the perfect color. What color exactly is your green dining room? Homestead Green? Mountain Laurel? Or maybe even Silver Pine? Now that you have picked your color, find an area rug to go over your new hardwood floor. The green dining room would not be complete without some new wood blinds and some beautiful window treatments. This is the place for accenting your home furnishings with all the latest designs. Find some accent pieces, a new table cloth, anything to update the look or feel.
When thinking of your home furnishings, do not just consider things inside the four walls of your house. Go beyond. Go outside. Your backyard is as much your living space as your living room is.
